Apple Core

A pen and ink drawing of an apple core from memory. I started an "ugly sketchbook" and it's a way for artist to practice drawing strictly in ink/pen, making it permanent and can't be erased. It stops you from being a perfectionist and to just draw and relax without worrying about making mistakes. Even if you do make mistakes, it's OK, it makes you more accepting of your work because you can't do anything about it. This process helps with exploring and experimenting in ink. I'm pretty happy with the way this little doodle came out, if I had sketched it in pencil first it would not have turned out this way after it was inked.
