Calder Piece

 This is a Calder piece.  The term Calder was named after Alexander Calder, who created "wearable art" and in a sense was body jewelry.  Calder jewelry is not usually soldered, but connected with wire and made with brass or steel.  My theme was constellations and stars and on the pieces of sheet metal, there are pierced holes creating certain constellations.  Made of brass wire and brass sheet metal.  I pounded the sheet metal and made my own jump rings (3 different sizes).
